In our ongoing mission to provide professional growth opportunities for our employees and their families, we’re excited to introduce the Next Generation Fund. This scholarship fund is supported in part by our retail store customers, and provides financial assistance for our associates’ children and grandchildren in their pursuit of education.

During the third week of every month, Southern Oregon Goodwill shoppers will have the opportunity to contribute Round Up Dollars toward the fund — 100% of which supports our employees’ dependents in their educational journeys.
Awardees can use the funds for trade programs, community college classes, continuing education, graduate programs and more. Whatever avenues our employees’ children and grandchildren are choosing to advance their careers, we are here to lend a supporting financial hand with this new program.
We launched the Next Generation Fund in March, 2023, and will be reviewing applications and announcing awards four times per year, with the next round coming up in September. Applications for qualifying employees’ dependents are open year round.
In our continuing work to eliminate barriers to employment and foster meaningful careers for people throughout Southern Oregon and Northern California, our team asked how we could further support our associates’ families. This program is one way we’re doing that. The Next Generation Fund is operated under the guidance and encouragement of our Board of Directors, and we look forward to seeing the long-term impact it will have on our community!
