Nationally recognized skills training for retail career success

Picture yourself in a new career with the National Retail Federation’s (NRF) Retail Industry Fundamentals training.

 

The Retail Industry Fundamentals professional credential covers the business of retail, customer service, and merchandising. The program was created in collaboration with retailers such as Macy’s, Walmart, and The Home Depot.

This one week course (10 – 12 hours) prepares participants for jobs as entry-level retail associates in distribution centers, call centers, and stores. The training is designed to provide a wide array of knowledge in areas such as retail tools and technologies, customer service, retail math, inventory, and interview skills. At the end of the course, students are ready to sit for the Retail Fundamentals Certification, which requires a $99 fee.

Retail Industry Fundamentals is a 10-lesson program that allows learners to explore the business of retail, customer service, sales and merchandising.

Certification training will be provided monthly in 2019. Please contact your closest training site for class schedule. This training is offered in Jackson, Douglas, Josephine, and Klamath counties.
