Give Your Things New Purpose

We help keep millions of pounds of unwanted items out of landfills each year.

From Goodwill’s inception in 1902, we’ve been a national pioneer of “green” business practices. Locally, Southern Oregon Goodwill diverts millions of pounds of refuse from landfills by recovering the value of unwanted goods. Every time you shop or donate at Goodwill, you’re helping to protect our planet.

By making donating convenient and easy, we reduce the number of materials that would otherwise end up in landfills. Find a donation location.

Recycle

What isn’t in sellable condition, we disassemble and separate to sell to reputable recyclers or salvage buyers nationwide. These sales result in more funding for our local job-readiness and training programs.

Annual Recycling Impact

Each year, we move millions of pounds of unwanted clothes and bedding — as well as hundreds of thousands of pounds of books, shoes, toys, and metals — through donation centers and onto other recyclers. The revenue we generate from recycling these goods makes a big impact on our job development programs and services we offer our program participants.
