Next Generation Fund

Scholarships are available to spouses, domestic partners, dependent children, siblings and parents of active Southern Oregon Goodwill employees.
The Next Generation Fund is Southern Oregon Goodwill’s dependent scholarship program – a key initiative aimed at supporting the families of our dedicated staff.

Eligibility Information
There is only one requirement to be eligible for the Next Generation Fund: you must be a family member of a Goodwill Associate.
As part of our ongoing commitment to personal and professional growth, we have recently expanded the eligibility criteria to include more family members and high school students.
- A Goodwill Associate is defined as an individual who has been continuously employed by Southern Oregon Goodwill for a minimum of 6 months and in good standing.
- A family member is defined as a parent, sibling, or child, and/or grandchild; including but not limited to, step, foster, adopted and/or legal guardians, and spouse; including but not limited to domestic partners.
Scholarship Uses
The Next Generation Fund is designed to provide greater support to our staff and their families, helping them achieve their educational and professional goals. Eligible fund uses include but are not limited to:
- Attendance to a four-year college or university, or accredited community college, trade school or vocational school.
- Professional Certificates or Licensure
- Costs associated with High School Honors Classes.
High school students who meet the eligibility criteria can now apply for the Next Generation Fund. This expansion aims to help students achieve their educational goals by offering scholarships for AP classes and testing, as well as assistance with certifications and licenses needed for work.
