After breaking ground in March of 2024, Southern Oregon Goodwill is thrilled to announce the grand opening of our brand-new store and Job Connection Center at at 777 E. Jefferson Ave. in Ashland, Oregon!
A Bigger, Better Shopping Experience
The new retail space is double the size of our previous Ashland store, offering shoppers an expanded selection of high-quality, affordable goods. Whether you’re hunting for clothing, home décor, books, or unique treasures, you’ll love the added space to browse and shop. And we’ve also addressed one of the most frequent requests from our customers and donors—parking! The new location boasts three times as many parking spaces, increasing from just 9 spaces at the old location to 30 at the new one.
The Ashland retail store and donation lane is open from 10am – 7pm daily!
Introducing the Ashland Job Connection Center
We’re especially proud to share that the new Ashland location isn’t just about retail. It’s also home to the sixth Job Connection Center in Southern Oregon and Northern California, where community members can access services to gain employment quickly and advance their careers.
At the new Ashland Job Connection Center, job seekers can access a variety of free services designed to help them secure meaningful work and build long-term career success. Our offerings include:
- Local and regional job leads
- Career skills and interest assessments
- Online literacy support: Assistance with creating email addresses, navigating online job searches safely and effectively, and submitting online applications
- Help obtaining work-ready identification
- Resume and cover letter development
- Interview preparation and practice
- Job-specific clothing or transportation assistance for interviews
The Ashland Job Connection Center is open on Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 9am – 1pm Drop In / 1pm – 5pm Appointment Only. Tuesday by Appointment only. Learn more about specific Job Connection locations and hours.
Supporting Our Mission, Together
Our mission at Southern Oregon Goodwill is to enable employment for all. By offering skill-building programs and services—free of charge—we help individuals facing challenging life circumstances prepare for, obtain, and thrive in the workplace.
Previously, our Ashland store referred job seekers to the Medford Job Connection Center for certain services. Now, with an in-house Job Connection Center and an on-site Job Connection Coach to provide free, personalized coaching, we can serve our local community even better. The new facility includes a learning lab equipped with computers and trainers to assist job seekers every step of the way. Additionally, having the Job Connection on-site allows us to offer more internships and hands-on learning opportunities right here in Ashland.
