Roseburg, OR — Southern Oregon Goodwill® Industries will open a new donation collection site for clothing, household goods and e-waste this Saturday, Nov. 5, at 241 NE Rifle Range St., Roseburg. This location replaces a donation site at 1807 NE Diamond Lake Blvd., which closed Oct. 1.
The Rifle Range Street donation site will be open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily. It will be the only Goodwill location in Roseburg that accepts e-waste: televisions, computers, monitors, printers, and peripherals such as keyboards and mice. The donation center at the Goodwill store in Sutherlin will continue to accept e-waste for recycling.
“Goodwill’s new donation collection site adds convenience for Roseburg’s east side residents,” Southern Oregon Goodwill President & CEO Shae Johns said. “We are proud to have Douglas County’s only e-waste collection sites at our facilities in Roseburg and Sutherlin.”
Revenue generated through the resale and recycling of donated goods contributes funding to Southern Oregon Goodwill’s employment and training programs and services, such as Goodwill Job Connections, which are free to the public.
