TV reports on SOU donation drive

KDRV Newswatch 12 reporter Andryanna Sheppard did a story about the campus move-out donation drive, an annual event done in partnership between Southern Oregon Goodwill Industries and Southern Oregon University. Students moving out at the end of the school year donate tons of clothing, decor, books and other household items they don’t need anymore.

The story aired on June 12, 2017.

Thanks to Andryanna for covering this great story and thanks to SOU Sustainability and Recycling Coordinator Roxane Beigel-Coryell for helping make this event happen each year and for talking about it here.

KTVL News 10 also covered the campus move-out donation drive with a story that aired June 20. Mike Marut put together a great reminder to students about how to get rid of items they don’t need on the next step in their journeys and make a positive difference in the community. We appreciate his coverage.
