A reminder about year-end giving

Southern Oregon Goodwill® Director of Marketing and Community Relations Julie Fletcher shared a reminder about year-end donations and the good work donors enable Goodwill to do each year.

KTVL-CBS News10 reporter Kimberly Kolliner came to interview her about meeting the IRS deadline to claim donations on next tax return. Julie also discussed the alternative ways donations are reinvested into the community, such as blankets to SO Humane and other shelters, furniture to Habitat for Humanity, and eyeglasses to the Lions Club. Clips from the interview aired on Dec. 28 and 29.

On Dec. 20, Julie visited Bicoastal Radio stations and was live on the air with Don Hurley on KOOL 103.5 talking about sustainability, community partners our donations support, and the evolving recycling market. With DJ Gemineye on KISS FM 107.5, she talked about sustainability and community partners. With Bill Meyer on KMED News Talk, she talked about year-end giving and recycling. She also visited Jason and Ashley on Q100.3 to talk about DIY holiday sweaters.
