Founded in 1967, our mission is to support people of Southern Oregon and Northern California in the development of skills needed to achieve economic, social and personal independence.
Southern Oregon Goodwill is a member of Goodwill Industries International, the largest provider of employment services to people with disabilities in the world.
Goodwill’s purpose is to help people overcome barriers to work, no matter what those barriers may be. We believe that every person should have the right and the opportunity to be a full partner in our community, and be able to find a way to contribute in their own unique way. Our client population ranges from those with developmental and mental health disabilities, to individuals who have suffered sensory, motor or cognitive impairment due to injury or degenerative disease, to the enormous segment of the general population who are attempting to transition out of the welfare system, and whose impoverished background and lack of social support, education and job experience places them at a great disadvantage in the competitive labor market.
