Nine employers will offer participants the opportunity to learn more about their companies, ask questions of online recruiters, and submit résumés for jobs. The Goodwill Virtual Career Fair will also offer two virtual workshop webinars each day from May 5 – 7. Topics include résumé writing, interviewing, and understanding what employers are looking for in today’s hiring market.
Since 1951, Goodwill agencies across the United States and Canada have marked the first full week of May as Goodwill Industries Week, a commemoration that celebrates the organization’s mission of enhancing the dignity and quality of life of individuals, families and communities by eliminating challenges to finding employment and providing opportunities through job placement and training programs.
