Goodwill
provides a wide array of services to person with disabilities. All services
are individually designed and tailored to meet specific individual needs.
Time Limited
Services
These
are services designed to assist individuals in identifying and removing
barriers that prevent success in the workplace.

Employability
Assessment- A two week to two month service that supports individuals to
work in various real work settings to help identify employment strengths
and weakness. Each assessment is individually tailored to meet the
specific needs of the individual.

Employee
Development Services- A one to twelve month work program the supports a
person address identifies employment barriers within a supportive work
environment

Employee
Placement Services- A variety of services to find community employment for
persons ready to go to work. These services may include individualized job
development services, structured job searches, job clubs or other
classroom training activities.
Long Term
Services
These are
services for persons, whom because of the nature of their disability require
long-term support services to be employed. Generally, persons participating
in long-term services have developmental disabilities or chronic mental
illnesses.

Sheltered Employment Services Working at jobs within the Goodwill system
with a full range of support services. Typical jobs may include work in
the Goodwill Industrial Contracts Department or in any one of our stores
or donation processing units.

Supported Employment These are integrated jobs at community worksites
for persons who require long-term support to maintain employment

Enclaves
An enclave is a small group of individuals working together at a
community business with support provided by Goodwill. Goodwill maintains
several enclave worksites at businesses in each county we provide
services to.

Individual Placement Persons are hired by area businesses with ongoing
support provided by Goodwill.
